IV. SHIELD AWARD

V. ANCHOR AWARD

* Demonstrates a unique and lasting impact on the entire Fraternity

* Cable Award recipient

* Worked beyond the local level in collegiate and/or alumnae programming

VI. STELLAR AWARD

Originated by the Palo Alto alumnae, this award derived its title from the stars on the Delta Gamma crest. This is a within-the-chapter recognition of an accomplishment by a member - a way of saying, "We think you're great." It recognizes achievements in career or community which do not qualify for the Delta Gamma Oxford or Shield Awards and yet are important. It notes special service to Delta Gamma for a single event or office which is important but lacks the continuing quality required for the Cable or Anchor Award.

VII. THE BOOK OF HONOR

The Book of Honor is a permanent record of gifts made to the Foundation in honor of a friend, adviser, officer, parent, relative or speaker at Founders Day or some other occasion. The book remains on permanent display at Executive Offices. The honoree receives a notice about the gift, and the Foundation uses the funds for its philanthropic work.

VIII. IN APPRECIATION CERTIFICATES

This certificate is designed for the chapter or association president who wishes to have a means of saying thank you to retiring executive board members, collegiate chapter advisors or house corporation officers.

IX. ANCHOR MAN CERTIFICATE

An alumnae or collegiate group wishing to recognize or show appreciation to a man for his service or helpfulness may present this certificate to him.
